Domino 8.5.3 to 9.0.1 upgrade - now domino service error

Hi All, please can someone assist me. We did and in place upgrade from domino 8.5.3 to domino 9.0.1. However once the server reboots, the domino service does not start, and gives an error regarding service-specific error code 1 in the windows event log.

I have added the variables in the notes.ini as per this link, but still no joy...

TCPIP_ControllerTcpIpAddress=10.10.10.5:2050

Try to run as Administrator...

Hi Michael,

It may be that when you ran the Domino 9 installation and subsequent fixpacks (if applicable), you did not run the executables as an Administrator.

I've experienced exactly the same issue as you when applying a R9.x fixpack/update. I simply reversed the update and re-applied ensuring at all times the excutable was run as an administrator.
